ERA-NET
ERA-NET for research and innovation on materials and battery technologies, supporting the European Green Deal. M-ERA.NET is an EU funded network which has been established to support and increase the coordination of European research programmes and related funding in materials science and engineering. The M-ERA.NET consortium will contribute to the restructuring of the European Research Area (ERA) by operating as a single innovative and flexible network of funding organizations.
DTU
DTU has more than a decade's experience in PEC cells and fundamental electrocatalysis/ photoelectrocatalysis. DTU has been one of the leading European institutes in developments of Catalysis and in particular of Photo- and Heterogeneous Catalysis. Still, it was identified that the current consortium was missing capabilities to validate the developed technologies in an industrial environment. As so, the consortium managed to secure the free testing at the German Aerospace Center, member of the Helmholtz Association (DLR). DLR is a well-known institute with world-class capabilities to test solar systems and will perform the final device validation.
IMEC
IMEC is one of the largest research organizations in the world with state-of-the-art research facilities and excellent infrastructure to support multilateral projects. IMEC has been actively involved in many flagship EU projects, photovoltaics and electrochemical energy conversion research.
INL
INL is an international organization dedicated to nanotechnology and it has been developing several interface passivation strategies for chalcogenide materials. Moreover, INL has unique infrastructure for advanced nanocharacterization.
UHasselt
UHasselt is a world-known organization in energy materials preparation and has been working with kesterite compounds close to a decade now. UHasselt coordinates and participates in several national and H2020 projects where the main topic is the development of kesterite materials for solar cell applications.
