The INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory was founded by the governments of Portugal and Spain to carry out interdisciplinary research and to develop and integrate nanotechnology for the society’s benefit. Located in Braga, its main vision is to be a globally recognized Centre of Innovation in Nanotechnology.

Its research and technology activities are focused on three thematic areas, which seek to address the great challenges of today’s world: Information and Communication Technologies, Energy and Environment, and Personalised Health and Food.
